I Know This Market Because I Have Paid the Price to Learn It
My Story
I have been working in the Volta Region land market for four years, based in Ho, the capital of the region. In that time I have guided buyers through one of the most nuanced and fast-moving property landscapes in the country.
But the knowledge I carry today did not come from a classroom. In 2023, I was involved in a land transaction that went badly wrong. Not because of a fraudster. Because of someone who genuinely meant well but whose knowledge, like mine at the time, had gaps. Those gaps cost us both dearly. I had to sell a business I owned just to cover the debt and survive the fallout.
That experience taught me something no seminar ever could. Good intentions are not a substitute for correct process. Goodwill does not replace documentation. After that, I went back to the beginning. I studied how the systems actually work, sat with the processes, and developed the verification framework I use in every transaction today.
I was shaped by two mentors who gave me more than knowledge. Pastor Leslie Gladstone, CEO of Rhema Estate Premier, was the first person to sit with me and open the doors of this land. He explained how to speak to landlords, how to read the families behind the land, and which corridors in Ho carry which authority. Rev. Dr. Bright Adonai, CEO of Adonai Estate Limited, taught me to think like a consultant and not just a dealer. The way I approach every transaction today is a direct reflection of what both of them poured into me.
The land market does not punish bad people. It punishes uninformed ones.
My Approach
Rigour
Every transaction follows the full seven-step verification process without shortcuts. The process exists to protect you. I follow it completely, every time.
Transparency
I give clients clear, written reports at every stage of the process. Not verbal summaries. Documented accounts of every step taken and every finding made.
Protection
My mandate in every transaction is the buyer's interest. Not the seller's, not the deal's. Yours.
A Note to Diaspora Investors
I understand the specific challenges you face. The information gap that comes from managing a transaction from thousands of miles away. The urgency trap, being told the land will be gone tomorrow to push you into a decision before you have done your verification. The risk of relying on a well-meaning family member or friend who does not know the process well enough to protect you. I close all of those gaps. I act as your eyes, your legs, and your professional representative on the ground. You get written reports at every stage, clear communication rhythms, and the confidence that comes from knowing someone with the right knowledge is handling this on your behalf.
